ETA christmas
was late and awfully large
ten plus pounds, poor mom

presently lanky
and usually hungry
metabolizer

tangential musings
prancing through holes in my thoughts
my cat is silver

blue hair once dyed black
my parents used to throw fits
but not anymore

brown natural color
now only seen at my roots
slightest hint of red

i am twenty two
age lost meaning after my
twenty first birthday

blue eyes and glasses
bent out of shape by concerts
oxidized green goo

used to write a lot
lost confidence in those skills
last three years, not much

repressed memory
dark spots lurking in my brain
memory repressed

my need for blue hair
stemmed from many locations
dreams and feelings 

christmas lava lights
cool, icy alien hues
calm, serenity

cartoons and comics
the cool characters with the
unearthly blue hair.
