Greetings! I am in the process of redesigning my website. This translates to "I'm tired of my old site and I have ideas about how I want it to look, but don't expect to see the changes for awhile because I'm a busy boy." The big problem is finding time to organize and scan all of the pictures, especially since at least one of the pictures that I need to scan is in Wisconsin. D'OH! But anyvays, these are some of the things that are going to be featured in the new site:
- This is the standard "this is me and this is my life
blah blah blah" section. My first installment to this area is here!

- I dig cats. They are a force for order and goodness...or
extreme annoyance when in heat or in your food. This will be an area for
my cat (sounds familiar) as well as some other furry friends and maybe
a swell iguana. Here is a money shot of my kitty ASHELING:
- Being a musician in a band, i have a few nice toys that
i like to use...this is an area to see what im using these days, what i
have used in the past, and even if i have things up for sale.
- These are things that i would own were it a perfect world.
No scratch that...if i had lots* of money to throw around...Anyvays, these
are things that i am lusting over that i likely will never be able to get
my hands on...
- I tend to doodle quite a bit. Especially in the midst
of long, boring lectures at school. Here you will see cartoon characters
i have created such as THE FLAMING PEANUT, FARMER PIG WHO JUST HAPPENS
TO BE INSANE, and THE COLUMN GOLEM, as well as gaining insight into the
worlds they inhabit. Unfortunately, the only picture i have of FARMER PIG
is in Wisconsin. Blargh. My first two intallments are now here.
- At some point, everyone ponders how their life compares
to a scripted film or sit-com. I am convinced that my life would often
make a great dark comedy. I tend to use "slap stick" because i am often
kinda clutzy. I am the type of person who tends to look pretty darn cool
walking down the street until i trip over my own feet. This area will also
include various anecdotes and stories including the story of when my lung
collapsed and i almost died. trust me, its HILARIOUS!
- I wanted an area for which i could spout out my
comments on different concerts i've been to. So i will be making one soon. Really.
- Things that i've been thinking about, listening to, or wasting my time on, whichever the case may be.
- I've been feeling awfully sentimental lately and feel
like erecting a shrine to the people who are important in my life for whatever
reason. Maybe I'll include a story or two about good times or whatever.
I think this is brought on by the fact that i'm nearing the end of college
and perhaps headed for a huge life transition in the near future. It's
kinda frightening to think about so i try not to. Maybe this area will
be my own little self therapy session. The creation of this area will likely
be facillitated by scanning pictures...honestly, that isnt going to happen
any time soon. :P
- Hey that is right. I am in fact a DJ (who isn't these
days?) and have spun at places such as RADIO K, GROUND ZERO, FIRST AVE.,
and the occasional house party. I am going to post some of the set lists
of times that i have dj-ed at EoD and Hard Mondays...whatnot... I'm not
really into this hardcore or anything, (like i dont have my own gear) but
it's fun to do once in awhile. Check out the site for THE
DESCENT...it is a swell radio show that i co-host.
OKAY. There is my itinerary for the next few months. I am actually quite pleased that i have gotten even this far as i have pondered these changes for quite awhile. So anyways, please check back in the next few weeks so you can see what changes i have (not) made.
