Jj is an electronic musician concentrating on dance music and audio collage. His music is contrary to electronic music's prevailing aesthetic of anonymity -- it has personality and while his whimsy has a recognizable signature, no two songs are put together in the same way.

He has been working with electronic music since 1990. He has performed with groups Cafe Fnord, Zurround and Dies Irae, playing hundreds of gigs at art galleries, concert halls, bars and music festivals, both in the US and abroad.

Most recently in Chapel Hill, he has worked with House and Breaks ensemble Anode Glow, and art rockers, Eyes to Space.

He has also organized open-mic nights, produced and written soundtracks for television shows and films, worked in sculpture and multimedia, and produced other people's music.
